The Tokyo Metropolitan Central Wholesale Market, Tsukiji Market, handling these seafood products, has been highly esteemed as the world’s premier fish market, both domestically and internationally.
Since our founding in July 1947 (Showa 22), we, Chuo Gyorui Co., Ltd., have adhered to the management philosophy of becoming a customer-oriented and honest company, under the motto of “delivering fresher fish at fair prices more quickly to consumers.” Since then, we have fulfilled our social mission of stably supplying seafood not only to the Tokyo metropolitan area but also nationwide.
In October 2018, the Tsukiji Market relocated to the Toyosu Market in Koto Ward, Tokyo. Like Tsukiji, Toyosu continues to attract attention from fishermen and handlers both in Japan and around the world. The collection and sales activities, sanitary conditions, and price movements at Toyosu Market significantly impact the distribution of seafood. We, Chuo Gyorui Co., will continue to work with a global perspective more than ever to contribute to the promotion of the seafood wholesale market and to enrich people’s healthy dietary lives.
